Andrew S. Chase, DMD, MSD
Orthodontics
Dr. Andrew Chase is continuing a great legacy in orthodontics that started over thirty-three years ago with his father, Dr. Robert Chavez. Together, they are the core and founding members of ARCH Orthodontics team.
Dr. Chase attended the State University of New York at Albany for his undergraduate studies. He was accepted into dental school a year early and continued his professional education at Boston University, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. Returning to his roots, he accepted a one-year General Practice Residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital, in the Bronx and was asked to stay on for a second year as Chief Dental Resident. He then continued to simultaneously earn two degrees, a Master's Degree in Oral Biology and a Post-Doctorate Degree in Orthodontics.
Dr. Chase was awarded his Certificate in Orthodontics from Boston University in September, 1998. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the Massachusetts Association of Orthodontics, along with the American Dental Association and the South Shore District Dental Society.
Dr. Chase has participated in Operation Smile on their "World Journey of Hope" and their innaugural mission to Peru. This organization helps disadvantaged children with cleft palates and other oral and facial deformities, by providing them with free surgeries and dental care that they may not otherwise receive. This is just one more way that Dr. Chase is working to spread smiles, not only in his own community, but around the world.
